Modalities in Lifestyle Medicine we use include coaching and advice on Mindfulness, Good Nutrition, Physical activity, Social networking and unhealthy substance avoidance.
We incorporate mindfulness in group sessions and we provide individual coaching and counseling on its application. We provide literature and assess progress.

We provide the advantages of Physical Activity. We assist you in finding what works for you best. We follow your progress and discuss goals. Together we do light activities. We provide literature to support.

PREVENT T2
Prevent T2 program is a part of the National Diabetes Prevention Program(NDPP) which is created by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and provided by partner organizations. It is a year-long lifestyle change program designed and proven to help people with pre-diabetes, prevent the development of type 2 Diabetes.
Healthy Lifestyle Consultant and Coach is proud to offer the PreventT2 Program to community members for little cost to people that are 18 years or older, have a BMI that is 25 or more (if you are Asian then 23 and higher) and a glucose test or A1C that is categorized as prediabetes. We accept AETNA insurance for this program. Medicaid and other insurances in progress....

Intensive Lifestyle Intervention Program for Patients with Type 2 Diabetes
(I-LIP program)
10 week program to begin reversing type 2 diabetes based on proven methods. Alternatively 8 weeks program possible. We assure clients come out with the information to improve disease, the practice of how and empowerment to get improved results.
Group of 3-4 clients with type 2 diabetes or cardiovascular disease
Weekly In-Person meetings of 1 hour duration comprising:
1. Check in………………………………………………10 mins
2. Topic of the day with recommendations…………….. 30 mins
3. Discussions/questions and answer……………………20 mins
(Including Action Plans)
30 mins individual coaching weekly (optional)
Plans for the week will be distributed with Calendars.
Interventions
· Nutrition counseling/coaching
· Some physical activity
· Stress management counseling, and much more information
COST: $800, - for entire 10 weeks program. Or $650, - for 8 weeks program
